Barker Brook Beagles

The  Maine Beagle Association recently awarded Barker Brook's Hare Raising Hulu 1st Place High Hound 15" Derby.  She also was awarded 1st Place High Hound 15" Female all age.  Incredible that at such a young age Hulu has accomplished so much.  She will be 2 in March, whelped 3-29-09 out of Field Champion Barker Brook's 12 Gauge Anny and Barker Brook's Blackdash Bogey.  This was such a fun trial year with  my Girls placing in 4 States.  Barker Brook's Stormin Norma was awarded 4th Place High Hound 15" all age Female.  Her Dam & Sire are also Field Champion Barker Brook's 12 Gauge Anny & Barker Brook's Blackdash Bogey, whelped  1-26-08.  They are both great hunting dogs as well.  Love My Girls!!

 2/14/10  Cheney Memorial Trial Salmon Falls River Beagle Club Lebanon, Maine.  A long cold day with 22 starters in the 15" Sanctioned Small Pack Opion All - Age on Hare.   Barker Brook's Stormin Norma placed 5th.  Dam: FC Barker Brook's 12 Gauge Anny & Sire: Barker Brook's Blackdash Bogey.  Out of the1/26/08 litter, see Pups page on this site for more pictures of her & her litter

4/11/10  Androscoggin Valley Beagle Club, Minot Maine Large Pack on Hare Sanctioned Derby 15 Starters.  2nd Place -  Wahkisik's Blackdash Rocky -  3rd Place Barker Brook's 12 Gauge Zoey.  These 2 Derbies are out of the 3/29/09 litter of FC Barker Brook's 12 Gauge Anny & Barker Brook's Blackdash Bogey.  Check out Bootee Camp Page on this site for more pictures of these 2 with their litter.  Both owners of these young ones are very pleased with their dogs.  They are gunned over as well & are exceptional hunting dogs!!

Buxton, Maine 15" Derby Large Pack On Hare Sanctioned Field Trial with17 Starters         1st Place - Wahkisik's Blackdash Rocky- Owner Jerry Gautreau Shown by Janice Mills   2nd Place- Barker Brook's Hare Raising Hulu  Owner Janice Mills Shown by Jack Rowland  4th  Place - Barker Brook's 12 Gauge Zoey- Owner/Handler Jeff Launder  These 3 Derbies are all out of same litter Whelped 3/29/09 out of FC Barker Brook's 12 Gauge Anny & Barker Brook's Blackdash Bogey.

4/24/10  Southern Maine Beagle Club W. Buxton, Maine 13" Derby Large Pack On Hare Sanctioned Field Trial with 9 starters               3rd Place - Barker Brook's Eva The Sweet Deva (11 months old)  Out of Barker Brook's Waylon Willie & Xena Of Greenwood Forest- Owner/ Handler Brian Mitsin.  4 young hounds from Barker Brook Beagles were entered at Southern Maine Derby & 4 Placed..So Proud Of these Young Hounds!!

4/26/10  Merrimack Valley Beagle Club Newbury, Mass. AKC 15" Female SPO Hare/Rabbit Licensed Field Trial with 28 starters.            2nd Place - Barker Brook's Hare Raising Hulu  This was a very long day (8:00 AM til 8 PM) with some extreme running but these females got the job done in the final pack.  Hulu is out of my FC Barker Brook's 12 Gauge Anny & Barker Brook's Blackdash Bogey
